This Thursday the 28th, Marrakech witnessed the meeting of Entrepreneur café held and organized by Fatima Ezzahra Amalou in Starbucks café- MARRAKECH at 18h30. A truly gratifying meeting; an auspicious one, where people got to know that the world is getting advanced rapidly in most streams including business. We got the chance to meet three Moroccan motivated Entrepreneurs, who had already made name for themselves in the Moroccan entrepreneurial domain. We had Mr Mohamed Chkih a motivational speaker, and speaker voice-over, a personal development coach PNL, an audiovisual content designer, the founding president of HitMit and also a brilliant engineering student.
The second project was presented by Mr Morad AIT RAHHAL Networker in MLM Company, and a member in Kyzen Success Academy, andpersonal development coach as well. The 3rd project was presented by Mr Azzedine LAADIMI ,FOUDER OF A COMMUNICATION AGENCY that supports digital communication, HELPING ENTREPRENEURS to develop and manage their business and reputation. They shared with the audience their experiences and shared a moment of joy; full of memories and old struggles they had faced before succeeding in their projects! That meeting was a gold opportunity for everybody to get to see the entrepreneurship as a simple task! Our entrepreneurs helped the audience to see the life from a different perspective, a shinny and a bright one! They were charged with a positive energy and they passed it to all the people around them. This meeting was all about this question, How to live a life of high achievement? The three entrepreneurs confirmed that we must fully believe in ourselves and in our ability. Successful persons greatly believe in themselves. And they emphasized that we must benefit greatly from the confidence. However, it’s not their levels of success that they talked about. It’s their willingness to get up again and again when they failed or experienced a setback while in pursuit of creating the life of their dreams. 5/22/2015 The 3rd Annual Crowdsourcing Week Global during 20-24 April 2015 was a good stage to share knowledge among CS communityRead NowDr Nikhil Agarwal, Founder Entrepreneur Cafe and Ms Chayanant Tiyatrakarnchi, City Mayor Bangkok attended the CSW Singapore. And we went right in it, in a very practical matter. With the help of a template from businessmodelgeneration.com we were able to put all the components of Zak’s business on one sheet into a great visual. Asking questions about his value proposition, his customer segments, the costs, resources and partners, we helped him get an overview over his business of importing Nigerian clothing material and selling it in Kenya. A business built on relationships. It turned out quickly that his business is based on relationships with clients and people who sell for him. He was also able to identify the next step forward: to get a tailor who is an expert in making dresses in West-African style. In that way, he will be able to fulfil more needs of his customers and be of even better service to them. He also hopes to start tapping into online marketing, but we established that the best option, regarding his business model, is to source it out. In that way, he will remain with enough time to take care of the relations to his customers and partners which are so essential for his business model and carry it forward. No quick money, but dedication and accountabilityThis was a new approach we tested: Being more hands-down practical and less talking. Because we want to push ourselves to actually see things happen in our own businesses instead of just discussing about it. Gilbert, an entrepreneur with a big interest in offshore business, came for exposure and networking. He realised that especially in Kenya, there are many business people who are interested in quick money. But Entrepreneur Café Nairobi remains free and targets entrepreneurs who want to build something for a cause. And the new strategy for our meetings will help participants do that.Homework to push things forward In two weeks, Zak will have used the same technique, the Business Model Canvas, for another undertaking. Gilbert will work with Tekra, another new participant and writer by profession, to work out one block of the model for her, that is, what value proposition she has to offer. Antony will work on another block, the key partners, for a company he is in the process of building. And Laura will try to put her business idea on a canvas as well. In that way, we will have made one step further in our undertakings and be able to help and push each other at the next meeting. Once, Mahatma Gandhi had said about the 7 dangers to the human virtues, known as well as the 7 dangers blunders of the world where one of those is ' Business without Ethic '. It sounds so destructive how the world can be without ethics, values and heart!
The world is getting advanced rapidly in most streams including business. Every aspect in doing business has become immensely challenging, competitive, innovative and creative. Due to this circumstances, some people do just about anything to get on the top whether moral or without values, to be the best in their endeavours including getting the attention! There are many reasons why people get involved in business. Obviously most of us undeniably want to get rich. Some feel that doing business is a self-satisfaction on what they happy to do. Often we hear, business people lifestyle will be connected to the 'Style, Quality and Excellent' which show their prestige level. But the reality is, every entrepreneurs or business people will face different level of challenges, in different situation with different ways to deal with it. And life is not all about showing off the prestige and wealthy part of it. This 'Style, Quality and Excellent' kind of lifestyle can be interpreted into positive and negative impact. Since the challenges in business or entrepreneur world are getting competitively stiff, the great norms in ourselves as a human can easily be drifted away into negative attitude such as turning into a 'big giant shark', selfish, ruthless and greedy towards others. Well, it is not only happen among the business community but to anyone as long you are a human. I always believe, on who and what you want to be, it is all depend on your intention. If your intention in doing business is all about material, you will end up only having 'materialistic' thinking and feeling inside of you. On the other hand, if you start your business because of interest to be rich and at the same time to encourage others to grow positively hand in hand with you, it will turn out as what you wish and along the way you will be a person with great heart, great ethics and HAPPY towards the business you create. Success is always be glorious to those who appreciate life in meaningful way. The Quality of successful entrepreneurship are all about the package of knowledge, wisdom, morale, experience, skill and hard work. I personally believe that we should encourage and cultivate the culture of more entrepreneurs to grow themselves successfully as business individuals and business entity with great heart. Let's nurture the great humanity ethics and values in business via Entrepreneur Café through out the world ! Sue Kamal City Mayor of Kuala Lumpur Entrepreneur Cafe TUNIS- Entrepreneur Cafe was organised for the first time in Tunis (Tunisia) Thursday, April 30, 2015 by NARJES (CEOF of CDCP E-learning) at "PENTHOUSE hotel located at Ennasr 2. Entrepreneurs, future entrepreneurs, ideas and contributors people who want to boost their professional network were present to share and discuss their ideas and projects with professional Iheb BEJI, Managing Director of MEDIANET who spoke about his success story as Senior Entrepreneur and exchanged with the present on how to contribute to economic development our country Tunisia by putting their talents to a project that is dear to them.
During this afternoon, CDCP E-learning had the opportunity to present its new crowdfunding platform dedicated to educational oriented projects called "FunLearning" who wants to enjoy all the possibilities offered by social networks for professionals give life to good ideas proposed by individuals, students, academic institutions, companies or startups. The first project on the platform called 'DYS care" was pitched by Enactus of the Higher Institute of Computer Science. Enactus is an international non-profit NGO and a community of students, academics and business leaders who agree to use the positive power of entrepreneurship to improve the level and quality of life people in need. Complacency is one of the biggest threat to success. It is like a plaque which need to be eradicated before it harms you. It makes you always want to stay at the comfort zone and too scared to leverage the potential to the higher level because of having negative thinking on making mistakes, taking risk and facing failures.
Point out one successful person in this world who has reached an outstanding achievement in complacency? Well, you can't find any. Big names such as Sir Richard Branson, The late Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Donald Trumps, Robert Kiyosaki, Jack Ma, Oprah Winfrey, Carlos Slim Helu, Warren Buffet, Akio Morita - Founder of Sony, Jimmy Choo and many more around the globe, have taken off their complacency mind and comfortable seat to face challenges and greater risk for who they are now. Complacent people love to stay apparently at all the time in complacent atmosphere. They are one of toxic types of people to my opinion. If you are the positive types, you should avoid this group of people because they have 'unhealthy radiation'. It is hard to create progressive steps to success with this 'species' since they will come out with too many negative thoughts, excuses and reasoning not to be apart of greatest challenges. But ironically, they are looking forward to take the compliment and appraisal of any easy success comes crossing their way. Complacent mind can 'kill' you from becoming creative and innovative. Most of situations, complacent people will only look into 'shortcuts', easiest and fastest way to accomplish something. This kind of mentality will never know how to critically think. Life always starts at the end of your comfort zone. You will never grow and learn anything about the juice of life if you are succumbed to complacency. Those who create history and unique in their accomplishment never start with complacency. Hardship, challenges and turbulences will develop you to have strong positive character, wiser, hi-resistance, critical mind, persistence, becoming more creative and innovative the way you see things in life. ~ ' You don't learn to walk by following rules, You learn by doing and falling over' - Richard Branson ~ Written by - Sue Kamal |
