Life can be generous at times, all you have to do is open your eyes and look for it around. This came to me as a blessing with the help of my seniors who are my very first mentors in LNMIIT, Jaipur.
Here is this little detail. We had this Youth Seminar, a two-day event in JNU, Jaipur. Being an Entrepreneurship Cell Member, it was more like a sponsored event to us. We with a group of 13 persons we went to attend it. It turned out to be a blessing to us. We were winner in almost all the categories and it was much-needed motivation for our club. In past few months, our team members have been tirelessly working on organising STARTUP INTERN FAIR and it is now looking very promising to all. Youth Seminar had a very good panel of speaker like Paresh Gupta, CEO, MyCareerArchites. On the second day, I had the privilege to meet one of the guests for the event; Rachna Ghiya, CEO, CrispTalks. Her start-up makes animated videos for other start-ups at an affordable rate. During her talks, we came to know more about innovation and entrepreneurship and it really moved me that she, not being from engineering background turns about to be a successful founder of a start-up and is a speaker. She told us about how thinks work and how making things simple can lead to a great idea, then to a start-up. She introduced us to a community which she is a city mayor of; Entrepreneur Café where people around the place come to share their ideas, start-ups and have coffee and in return get to connect with like-minded people who are more than willing to help. People with good networks, knowledge, experience and expertise. So, after the seminar, I along with my few fellow E-Cell members made mind to visit it once for sure. And Today (13th Jan) was the day we went there and I had never seen such a variety of people discussing ideas, mentoring people, adding more features just at a cost of coffee. Oh! I forgot to tell you that this meeting was just on buy a cup of coffee and you have them. We were but a little late but we caught the pace pretty soon. I also found out that no one is left behind, either you are late comer or silent listener; everyone has to speak; at least you have to introduce yourself to the fellow mates there. This meet is mostly organised on every second and fourth Thursday, mostly at 6:30 p.m. at The Warehouse Cafe only. There were founder whose start-ups are already running successfully, somewhere going to have their own, somewhere on pilot and needed mentoring and people like me keen on listening and grasping how they work and prepare myself to have one of my own. Rachna Mam was a very good host and made sure that everyone gets what they came for to The Warehouse Café beside a cup of coffee. We also had one start-up from our college; DeliverySanta. The founder is my senior; Siddharth Nahar, an E-Cell member too. I really liked the way he pitched his idea and stole the show. Everyone was impressed with him and he was flooded with improvements, suggestion and mentoring. After the talks, I get to meet with great people. I remember Sourabh Bajaj, Product Engineer, KaroSell, Aashish Ahuja, Director, EducationStack.com and Anuj Agrawal, Nexus Specialist, LinkYou. There were more than happy to listen to your idea and share their contacts to get in touch with me. All our E-cell member along with me left the café with a satisfaction and are happy and excited to visit again. I thank Rachna Mam to inviting us there and in helping us in knowing so much about the growing start-up Ecosystem in Jaipur.
