Entrepreneur Cafe in association with MIT ADT University, Pune organised '3rd Annual Global Convention 2017' at Raj Kapoor Memorial Auditorium in the picturesque campus of MIT Art, Design and Technology University, on 16th and 17th 2017.
The AGC 2017 of the Entrepreneur Café is considered as one of the largest entrepreneurial communities in the world. It was truly an opportunity to meet with experts, investors, mentors and entrepreneurs and to give the opportunity to young entrepreneurs to present their ideas to the investors. The 2 days conference witnessed some of the leading entrepreneurs from all over the globe. The theme of AGC 2017 was The “#Future” of Entrepreneurship.
The welcome note was held by Dr. Sunil Rai(Vice Chancellor MIT ADT University), Dr Nikhil Agarwal (Founder-Entrepreneur cafe). Dr. Sunil Rai welcomed everyone mentioning his thoughts about Entrepreneurs.
After welcome note, Panel members on the Dias addressed the crowd. Mrs. Shweta Shalini spoke about the initiatives taken by महाराष्ट्र शासन - Government of Maharashtra
Dr. Mangesh Karad,Executive President ,MIT ADT University delivered the special address highlighting the synergy among the University ,Government and Corporate to promote entrepreneurs pursuits in our country.
Mr. Kunal Kumar(IAS Pune Municipal Corporation), Dr. Shrawan Kumar(Joint Secretary Ministry of Culture, Government of India), R. Vimala (IAS, CEO MSRLM) spoke about 'Future of Entrepreneurs'.
Event further witnessed Panel Discussion on 'Its about Money Honey' , 'Building awesome team for your venture', 'Entrepreneurial Ecosystem: All about Incubation' and 'Brand me Right'.
The second day began with the power breakfast with CEOs, where the keynote address was given by R Ramanan,(Additional Secretary and Mission Director Atal Innovation Mission,NITI Aayog ,Government Of India).According to Ramanan, the initiative will spur entrepreneurship and lead to development of strong entrepreneurial ecosystem in Pune.
This spirit of innovation and creativity, was further re-enforced by Mr.Sanjeev Sinha,(Advisor, India Japan High Speed rail Project (Bullet train),Govt. of india),Mr.Makarand Jadwekar,(Former Global Director R&D Pfizer and Mr Raj Brar (CEO,Unicos Group ,Canada).
There was a special panel to celebrate 'WOMEN ENTREPRENEURSHIP' where the session was,moderated by Mrs.Shweta Shalini,BJP Spokesperson Maharashtra ,Mrs. Rubna Agarwal IAS,CEO Shirdi Saibaba Trust.Prof Sunita M Karad (Director MITCOM) and Mrs.Shilpa Agarwal (Ex Mrs.Universe Lovely),the theme of discussion was “Behind every successful venture there is a woman”.The panel discussion highlighted the challenges ,women entrepreneurs face in our country and how these challenges can be addressed and how women maintain work life balance.
Prof Sunita Karad Director Mitcom said that she wants to take the entrepreneurship to the next level by her efforts.
The second day ended with a vote of thanks by Dr.Sunil Rai to E café team for bringing together a galaxy of vibrant personalities and facilitating the discussion and insights given by them.
