Choosing the footpath of becoming an entrepreneur is like awarding oneself the best freedom in doing and achieving what we happy about. Being happy on what you do is where the passion happens. Since the world of entrepreneurship can be pictured as combination between extreme sport and riding a rollercoaster, challenging but full of fun. It becomes necessary for a person to possess the interest and passion on what they involve in. Anyone would sacrifice and do anything when passionate starts to rule everything. Subsequently, they will keep on moving forward and not easily to back off from the 'bumpy-ride game'.
Some say, 'Only the strong shall stay'. It sounds very much about reality check on entrepreneurship life since it connects a lot with the mental strength of a person, maturity, intelligence, endurance, skill, knowledge, creativity and great life values. All of those are visibly impossible to achieve in one night. You need to take certain steps at one time, comprehending situations takes little times and making important decision is definitely all about the right time. From self-development, gaining knowledge, polishing all aspect related skill, turbulence in life and business undertakes, that is where the lifetime journey begins. Entrepreneurs-wannabe should have in prior understanding on what the definition of entrepreneurship is all about. It would make a better vision and objective to fulfil when they begin to step in. Entrepreneurship is a process to start a business. It involves many spectrums, from developing great ideas to business planning, strategy, human capital development, external resources, monetary funding etc. Not just about making money 24/7. Needless to say, entrepreneurship is relatively about a travelogue on the passion commitment of an individual to materialise the belief and effort towards achieving target, making remarkable success and history. Business schools, Entrepreneurial lecturers including the reading materials should take the role on giving the actual input on the fact that entrepreneurship is a process of a lifetime not a 'fantasy island' before seeing the star is born in the sky. Surely, it can motivate start-ups including young, emerging and budding entrepreneurs to face the reality of the world they are in. At the earliest stage of building up entrepreneurship, the focus should be on the understanding of the skill strength, positive character building, the market, learning what customers want (including how much they are willing to pay), proving your concept to be workable and finding your own niche as to differentiate yourself from competitors. For potential funding investors, to prove the concept is effective with clear path to gain revenue and large market potential is much more important before giving green-light to pump-in investment. As the world evolves around us every day with the most updated technology, innovation and information, entrepreneurship sometimes can be wrongly operated as the 'money-search engine'. The fact is, entrepreneurship has bigger role and dimension in social life. It is true that what is business if it is not making money, but the fundamental values of entrepreneurship shall need to be understood in depth, so it serves the purpose and doesn't defeat the understanding of the process in real sense. Above all, entrepreneurs should be clear on what they want in their life, the road they are choosing and the way they work on it. It determines their destiny through their lifetime process. Entrepreneurship is the platform where it develops and nurtures great personality and leadership. The history has proven it such as Steve Jobs, Bill Gates, Jack Ma, Richard Branson, Warren Buffet, Donald Trump and many more. Hence, if you are an entrepreneur, 'Be Proud of Yourself'. Your glorious time will come when you go through that lifetime process. This came to me as a blessing with the help of my seniors who are my very first mentors in LNMIIT, Jaipur.
Here is this little detail. We had this Youth Seminar, a two-day event in JNU, Jaipur. Being an Entrepreneurship Cell Member, it was more like a sponsored event to us. We with a group of 13 persons we went to attend it. It turned out to be a blessing to us. We were winner in almost all the categories and it was much-needed motivation for our club. In past few months, our team members have been tirelessly working on organising STARTUP INTERN FAIR and it is now looking very promising to all. Youth Seminar had a very good panel of speaker like Paresh Gupta, CEO, MyCareerArchites. On the second day, I had the privilege to meet one of the guests for the event; Rachna Ghiya, CEO, CrispTalks. Her start-up makes animated videos for other start-ups at an affordable rate. During her talks, we came to know more about innovation and entrepreneurship and it really moved me that she, not being from engineering background turns about to be a successful founder of a start-up and is a speaker. She told us about how thinks work and how making things simple can lead to a great idea, then to a start-up. She introduced us to a community which she is a city mayor of; Entrepreneur Café where people around the place come to share their ideas, start-ups and have coffee and in return get to connect with like-minded people who are more than willing to help. People with good networks, knowledge, experience and expertise. So, after the seminar, I along with my few fellow E-Cell members made mind to visit it once for sure. And Today (13th Jan) was the day we went there and I had never seen such a variety of people discussing ideas, mentoring people, adding more features just at a cost of coffee. Oh! I forgot to tell you that this meeting was just on buy a cup of coffee and you have them. We were but a little late but we caught the pace pretty soon. I also found out that no one is left behind, either you are late comer or silent listener; everyone has to speak; at least you have to introduce yourself to the fellow mates there. This meet is mostly organised on every second and fourth Thursday, mostly at 6:30 p.m. at The Warehouse Cafe only. There were founder whose start-ups are already running successfully, somewhere going to have their own, somewhere on pilot and needed mentoring and people like me keen on listening and grasping how they work and prepare myself to have one of my own. Rachna Mam was a very good host and made sure that everyone gets what they came for to The Warehouse Café beside a cup of coffee. We also had one start-up from our college; DeliverySanta. The founder is my senior; Siddharth Nahar, an E-Cell member too. I really liked the way he pitched his idea and stole the show. Everyone was impressed with him and he was flooded with improvements, suggestion and mentoring. After the talks, I get to meet with great people. I remember Sourabh Bajaj, Product Engineer, KaroSell, Aashish Ahuja, Director, EducationStack.com and Anuj Agrawal, Nexus Specialist, LinkYou. There were more than happy to listen to your idea and share their contacts to get in touch with me. All our E-cell member along with me left the café with a satisfaction and are happy and excited to visit again. I thank Rachna Mam to inviting us there and in helping us in knowing so much about the growing start-up Ecosystem in Jaipur. This time the participant were over 50 person, from different age categories. For the third time all those people reunited to discuss another entrepreneurial theme. “Concretization of Projects” was the theme of Entrepreneur Café Agadir third meeting, for this reason the team of Entrepreneur Café Agadir invited two different profiles to intervene and debate with the audience about the concretization of projects. The first speaker was Abdurrahman Zaidi a young entrepreneur from Agadir. Abdurrahman is the owner of Pespada restaurant. He started his talk using a special technique of interaction with the public using a small fin ball to ask every one present a question relevant to the Entrepreneurial Domain. Abdurrahman during his speech explained that to concretize a project, a whole technical and pragmatic process should be followed .According to his perception every single action must be very carefully calculated. To conclude his intervention Abdurrahman expressed that a project is like a new born baby it needs concentration, efforts and more importantly patience to be raised adequately. The Second speaker was Mehdi Reghai. Mehdi is also a young entrepreneur in the domain of internet and technology. Mehdi’s speech was totally different from Abdurrahman’s one in terms of technicality. For Mehdi a project to be concretized it needs to be real and more importantly it need a deep ambition and wiliness. Through Mehdi’s speech we could recognize that it is for sure important to have a project, it is essential to follow a technical plan, but it not enough, it is not the only thing to be worked on. According to Mehdi a project can be concretized and can fulfill success if the project owner or founder strongly believes in that project. Mehdi explained to the audience that a project is a journey to live in and with. It is a choice to make and to be proud of it. Realizing a project is a risk to take and to learn from it. To wind up his speech Mehdi said : “If you really want to be an Entrepreneur go ahead even if you fail one , two or three times you don’t lose because you learn “ Agadir is amazingly full of youth potential who just need a push and a light to follow the path and Entrepreneur Café meetings are present to offer them the chance to express themselves and talk about their ideas and projects and why not to invest and make their dreams a reality . While hackathons continue to happen, you don’t really see a startup convention or a conference, running non stop for 24 hours, for two long days ! Welcome to Entrepreneur Cafe’s ‘Annual Global Convention’. The Annual Global Convention 2015 would be a non-stop 24-hour event which will be focused towards bringing all stakeholders related to startup community i.e. experts, investors, mentors and entrepreneurs on a common platform. Talking to us on the event’s USP over others, Budh Aditya Sengupta, AVP, Entrepreneur Café says, Unlike other events, the focus of AGC 2015 is on interaction & we have curated the event in such a way that it will give an opportunity to participants to interact with experts. We have Power Dinner wherein participants can meet their startup soulmate; Cocktail Party to ease everybody and increase the interaction; Bonfire to set up an informal yet discussion oriented environment and Champion’s Breakfast to let participants meet with experts & eminent personalities from all walks of life. Along with this, we have sessions such as Shark Tank where 15 startups will get the opportunity to present & get their startup funded on-the-spot. The event, which has 15+ confirmed speakers — including the likes of Mahesh Murthy; Rajnish Menon, Gen VK Singh (retd), Union Minister, Govt of India — promises to be one hell of a startup marathon, one that you just can’t give a miss. And just so that you actually don’t miss this one, you can get your event passes right here. And yes, as you might have already guessed it, we are covering this event LIVE right from the very first minute to the end of that 24th hour — through live blogging, streaming and lots more. So if by any chance, you are not gonna make it to the event, pick up your smartphone and simply log on to the Tech Portal for live on-ground coverage. See you at the event folks. Ciao ! JustKapture.com World’s first free, premium photo printing & delivery service, has been launched, exclusively for the people of Hyderabad. The photo prints are free, as Just Kapture places relevant advertisements behind the photos. They have tied up with 10 advertisers & collaborated with 4 startups and are looking to make many more strategic partnerships in the near future. “The initial response from clients was mind blowing! They were very excited about placing an ad behind a photograph, they believed it was truly personal and would strike an instant connect with the users”, added Founder Manish Agarwal. With the increased usage of digital photography & social media networks like Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest and more; people have stopped printing their photos. Except for weddings & few other occasions, the charm of printing out photos & storing them, is slowly dying. Just Kapture believes this to be happening as printing has been a cumbersome experience for users. Starting from saving, storing, transferring photos, to the hassle of finding reliable printers & getting free time to print the photos at a reasonable cost has deterred users from printing them. Just Kapture is aiming to reduce these hassles & deliver good quality, free photo prints to users at their doorstep. Around 5 million people in Hyderabad have internet access, and this is growing at a rapid rate of 33% every year. Just Kapture aims to reach their target audience with a marketing mix of Traditional & event based promotions.
