Dr Nikhil Agarwal, Founder Entrepreneur Cafe and Ms Chayanant Tiyatrakarnchi, City Mayor Bangkok attended the CSW Singapore.
The four day event was the biggest crowdsourcing party. People from all over the world participated in the conference.  The discussions during these 5 days in Singapore have intensively related with the disruptive transformations, and the future of the crowd economy i.e. technological innovations, growth and market opportunities, etc.

Sean Moffitt from Wikibrands & CSW2 shared his opinion… the crowdsourcing has been popularly transformed from west to east, consequently, the key growth driver of crowdsourcing in near future will be Asia region.   Leo Shimada from Crowdonomic concurred Sean’s opinion that… Asia is on the way to using crowdfunding as a powerful fundraising tool. Crowdfunding is no longer a novelty.  Most platforms in Singapore are changing the competitive mindset and obviously, what was once known as novelty is now morphing into a powerful financing tool in Asia.  The Dragon is awake and ready. China dominates in scale and South East Asia is the breakout region in growth!

Not only StartUp, but also FMCG and large corporation are also paying their attentions to crowdsourcing. Joël Céré from eYeka, shared insights on the evolution of crowdsourcing…  Based on the crowdsourcing activity of the 100 Best Global Brands since 2004, as well as that of ten major FMCG companies on four leading crowdsourcing platforms in 2013 and 2014, the resulting “The State of Crowdsourcing in 2015” trend report is the first objective assessment of trends and adoption of crowdsourcing for marketing and communication by the world’s biggest brands, and a forecast about where it is heading. Cade Tan from DBS Bank said… Crowdsourcing requires an ongoing learning culture; therefore, DBS invests spend more time to understand in shifting themselves to the collaborative, and transparent economy.  In addition to time, it also invested a lot to build this two-way learning process in exploring its implications.

CSW Global is the annual global conference where digitally-minded executives, innovators, government officials, intrapreneurs and entrepreneurs from over 30 countries gather to network and explore the tools and tactics at the frontier of the new economy. for more information visit
